Vermont Interventional Spine Center (VISC) is a free standing medical practice in Northen Vermont. We strive to provide technical expertise, along with compassionate care in a relaxed and supportive environment. We are dedicated to the evaluation and nonoperative interventional management of painful spinal and major joint disorders.
Dr. Jerry Tarver completed his fellowship training in Pain Medicine at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in 1999. He received his anesthesiology training at West Virginia University in 1992 and his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1985.
Prior to VISC, Dr. Tarver practiced pain medicine and trained residents and fellows at the Fletcher Allen Center for Pain Medicine for eight years. He served as Fellowship Director of the Pain Medicine Fellowship Program and was an instructor of radiofrequency cadaver workshops offered at the national conference of the ASA.
